Terms of use
These terms govern the use of justfreeapps.com (the "Site"), operated by JFA (the "Operator"). By using the Site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site.
1. The service
The Site offers free online tools to process audio and video files and generate texts, such as splitting the tracks of a song, creating clips from a video and producing summaries and texts for social media. The service is provided as it is, with no registration required.
2. Acceptable use
You may only upload files that you have the right to use: your own content, or content for which you have the permission of the rights holder. It is forbidden to:
- upload unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others, including copyright;
- upload material that unlawfully exploits or depicts minors, content that incites hatred or violence, or malware;
- use automated programs to send requests in bulk or to get around the limits of the service;
- attempt to damage the Site, the servers or other users.
3. Your content and the results
The files you upload remain yours. You give us limited, temporary permission to process them for the sole purpose of processing them and returning the result to you. Files and results are deleted automatically within 60 minutes: download them straight away, because afterwards we cannot recover them.
You are responsible for how you use the results. The tracks extracted from a song, for example, remain subject to the copyright and related rights in the original song: to publish them or use them in other projects you may need the permission of whoever holds those rights.
4. Limits of the service
We may set limits on the size and length of files and on the number of requests, and change them over time. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the service, or introduce paid features, at any time.
5. No guarantee on results
The tools use automated procedures, including ones based on artificial intelligence, and results may contain errors or inaccuracies. Generated summaries and texts should be read and checked before you publish them. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available or free of interruptions.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect damages or for damages arising from the use of the service or from being unable to use it, nor for the loss of files. The rights that the law grants to consumers in any case, and any liability that cannot be excluded by law, remain unaffected.
7. Reporting a copyright infringement
If you believe that content processed through the Site infringes your rights, write to privacy@justfreeapps.com stating:
- which work you believe has been infringed and what entitles you to report it;
- which content or which page of the Site is concerned, with the information needed to identify it;
- your contact details and a statement that the report is made in good faith.
We will review the report and, if it is well founded, act quickly by removing the content. We may also prevent anyone who repeatedly uses the service in breach of the rights of others from using it.
8. Privacy
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy and in the cookie policy.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the mandatory protections provided by the law of their country of residence, and the courts of their place of residence or domicile, remain unaffected.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms: the date at the top shows the latest version, and by continuing to use the Site after a change you accept the new one. For any question write to privacy@justfreeapps.com.
